Message the downpipes. There should be little to no front to back play. There is usually some side to side play. I forgot what the acceptable amount is to be considered within spec. You could call Jim Wolf Technology or ATP turbo, they can give you how much is considered OK (I wanna say it's .012 but that is a distant memory). Also, you could have your mechanic remove an intercooler pipe (preferably before the intercooler) and see if there is a significant coating of oil. A light film is expected, but a heavy coating could indicate oil being pushed past the turbo seal. As you can see there is a wide variation of how long these little suckers last.
